Chisunga Dispensary

Chisunga dispensary is a clinic established by the Chisunga Tea Estate. The aim of the clinic is to provide treatment to the people who work in this estate as well as the relatives of the people who work. Due to the existing relationship between the community and the estate, even those who do not work at the estate receive care from this clinic.

Although this is an estate clinic it receives medical assistants from Thyolo Hospital.

At the clinic, there are only OPD services and all those in need of intensive care are referred to Thyolo Hospital. Even pregnant women do not deliver at this clinic.

The staff present are Medical assistants, Nurse, and Health Surveillance assistants.

Chisunga Clinic has located 22 km from Thyolo hospital in Tradition Authority Bvumbwe. It serves at least 1673 people who are working at this estate and other people from surrounding the area.
