Amalika Health Post

This is a health post located in the Bvumbwe chiefdom.

The facility is located 18 km from Thyolo Hospital. It provides support to at least 21,140 people from the area around the facility.

At this health post, there are a few staff members led by a Medical Assistant who provides support to people who need to receive medical care.

Some of the staff at the facility are Health Surveillance Assistants who specialize in community hygiene activities in the communities and also provide vaccines and some drugs for children under the age of five who have ailments such as malaria, diarrhea, fast breathing, red-eye, and providing contraceptives to women in the surrounding villages.
