Responsibilities
The AgCMO is responsible for leading in clinical work (patient care), Planning, Organizing, Directing & Controlling Clinical services of the district. Staff management through enforcement of professional conduct and work ethics among staff AND ensure availability of medicines, medical supplies & equipment through management of the supply chain for the district
Qualifications
Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)-Kamuzu University of Health Sciences.
Project Management in Global Health (Certificate)-the University of Washington, Department of Global Health.
Leadership and Management in health (Certificate)-the University of Washington, Department of Global Health
Vision/Mission
Transform Thyolo district Health office (and its facilities) to become a centre of excellence, responsive to the health needs of its catchment population through research and evidence-based practices in the delivery of medical services.
