Naming’omba Dispensary

Namingomba dispensary is a clinic set up by the Namingombaomba Tea estate. The aim of the clinic is to provide treatment to the people who work in this estate as well as the relatives of the people who work. Due to the existing relationship between the community and the estate even those who do not work at the estate receive care.

Although this is an estate clinic it receives medical support from Thyolo hospital.

At the clinic, there are only OPD services and all those in need of intensive care are referred to Thyolo Hospital. Even pregnant women do not deliver at this clinic.

The staff present are Medical assistants, Nurse, and Health Surveillance Assistant.

Naming'omba clinic is located 8 km from Thyolo hospital in the Tradition Authority Nchilamwera area. It serves at least 3876 people who are working and those from around the clinic.
